What's the big deal about spiritual gifts resources? Successful ministry means teaching church members to see themselves as ministers who do not rely only on their pastor to do all the ministry. Helping them understand the concept of spiritual gifts, how they are gifted and where they should be serving can make a radical difference. Teena Stewart is a published author who has served in Christian ministry for years, teaching spiritual gifts classes and working with the ministry equipping process. She has also been a volunteer coordinator for several churches and non-profit organizations.

She developed spiritual gifts inventory discovery resources for both personal study and group study to help individuals complete their own spiritual gifts assessment while learning about their abilities and skills, and where they are best designed to serve. These resources help them understand spiritual gifts, their talents, skills, experiences and personality and how they can be used to serve God and church.

Resources are divided into to phases.

PHASE I - Spiritual Gifts and Ministry Discovery. Begin by teaching your church members that they, not the pastors, are ministers and by helping them understand what spiritual gifts are, how they are gifted and where they should be serving. The following resources are recommended:

This book is a gift spiritual resource meant to be used in conjunction with Ministry in Motion's Discovering My Ministry Seminar Teacher manual. It is not a stand-alone book.

This seminar helps take the mystery out of understanding spiritual gifts. When this book is used with the Teacher Manual developed by Ministry in Motion, students gain an understanding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how they are designed for a purpose.
